But before we look ahead, let\u2019s take a quick look back at 2024. Spring was promising: April and May were great, but June didn\u2019t quite live up to expectations. Was it because other campsites also opened in June? Or was it the dreaded weather forecast? Who knows, but we were ready for the high season, and it turned out to be amazing! More updates on that later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We often hear that &#8220;Rome wasn\u2019t built in a day,&#8221; and that\u2019s definitely true. There\u2019s still a lot to do, but we\u2019re proud of what we\u2019ve already achieved. With the help of a few of our residents, he built <strong>beautiful terraces at the Cabanes Magiques.<\/strong> And that wasn\u2019t all! The following winter, he added natural steps leading down to the lake. So, when you book one of our Cabanes Magiques, you get a large private space and almost private access to the lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve also transformed the mobile homes that were still for sale into <strong>luxury rental accommodations<\/strong>. These are top-notch stays, with spacious showers, large double beds, and a covered terrace where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the help of our friend Nicolas, we leveled off a piece of land. Our plan is to eventually level all of the camping grounds so that everyone can enjoy the space to the fullest. Speaking of the grounds \u2013 we love letting <strong>nature<\/strong> take its course, but to prevent everything from becoming overgrown and to give nature&#8217;s little gems the space to thrive, we do quite a bit of pruning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve also made improvements to the <strong>sanitary facilities<\/strong>. The access has been changed, making it much more beautiful and accessible, especially for people in wheelchairs. We&#8217;ve made everything more user-friendly!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-f2b4f319 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:60%\">\n<p>At our reception (and shop), we\u2019ve made some significant changes. The fence has been removed, and the reception is now set up so you can enter from both the back (via the campsite) and the front (from the street). There\u2019s now a terrace where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and plan your day with the help of our flyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>And then\u2026 the cherry on top, the cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me:<\/strong> our snack bar by the water. You can relax in one of the lounge areas with a refreshing ice cream or a nice cold beer. If you&#8217;re hungry, there are also snacks available.
